"Living in Korea, and then in Finland, I was the minority and many people’s eyes were cast on me. I decided to try make the most of that, and to not let it affect me negatively. As a black man, and a foreigner, the more time I spent there I realised my identity meant more than just myself. It meant my country, my ethnicity: I grew into the politics of race, and into this project."
