Voice Sparks is a project of Very Real Time.
Voice Sparks offers a platform for school pupils in Paris and South Africa to share and discuss videos using social media.
Gregg Smith works together with a choreographer to create a series of video-making workshops. Learning the tools of narrative, the voice, the body, and public space, young students explore the material of lived experience. The final outcome is a series of six small, poetic videos (15–45 seconds each) which use spoken text and dance to engage with urban spaces.
