Students from the Avenues World School are tasked to engage with water as a natural resource and ask after the effects of water shortages on environment, economy, and society. Beginning with the challenge to "actively practise conservation in your own life," students workshop innovative responses to global issues.

The program at A4 proposes an abstraction of the notion of 'crisis' into the terrain of 'opportunity', with a guiding question: "What are the opportunities of not having water?"

Through a series of exercises, the 24 participating students imagine new ways of thinking in moments of crisis and learn to use experimentation as a tool of methodological intervention.
